Baishizhou Urban Village tour and discussion with Shenzhen scholar Mary Ann O'Donnell in her new exhibit space, Handshake 302.
Workshop with Urbanus / Shenzhen Bay Sports Center / UABB Urbanism Biennial / Obama BBQ
We listened to a lecture about Urbanus' built and conceptual work, and its urban interventions specific to the context of Shenzhen. The students then presented their studio projects for feedback from members of the Urbanus team.

DAY 3:
Caiwuwei Urban Village walking tour with Chris Gee / Shenzhen Grand Theatre / Hubei Village / Dafen Painters' Village
We explored the Caiwuwei urban village on foot, meandering through its tiled pedestrian pathways and looping into the newly developed Mix C luxury mall across the street.
Dafen Painter's Village... a development of the last decades devoted to hand-painted reproductions of any sort.
DAY 4:
Students returned to their sites to document. Here are some snapshots of Shekou industrial area.
